My family and I dwell in the secret place of the Most High. We abide under the shadow of the Almighty. The Lord is our refuge and our fortress; Our God, in Him we will trust. He will deliver us from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. He will cover us with His feathers,

And under His wings we will take refuge;

His truth will be our shield and buckler. We will not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,

Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

A thousand may fall at our side,

And ten thousand at our right hand;

But it will not come near us.

Only with our eyes shall we look,

And see the reward of the wicked.

Because we have made the Lord, our refuge,

Even the Most High, our dwelling place,

No evil shall happen to us,

Nor will any plague come near our dwelling;

For He will give His angels charge over us, To keep us in all our ways.

In their hands they shall bear us up,

Lest we dash our foot against a stone.

My family and I will tread upon the lion and the cobra,

The young lion and the serpent we will trample underfoot.

Because we have set our love upon Him, therefore He will deliver us;

He will set us on high, because we have known His name.

We will  call upon Him, and He will answer us;

God will be with us in trouble;

He will deliver us and honor us

with long life He will satisfy us,

And show us His salvation.”

The Eyes of Jesus

It is so amazing to see things the way Jesus see things.  To feel and touch the way Jesus does.  We all need to see through the eyes of Jesus, not through the eyes of judgment, division, bitterness or even fear.

        Satan tries to make us judge others so that he can cause division in our lives.  He’ll say things such as, “Oh, look what she just did, she’s supposed to be a Christian” or “I can’t believe my husband asked me to do that, who does he think he is—God?”  We need to love people just where they’re at no matter what they do or what we think they are doing.  God always wants us to believe the best in people.  If we are to walk like Jesus, then we are to look at the person’s heart.  We need to get past all that flesh, including our own flesh and see what Jesus sees in the person.
